At FurnishMyHome.ca, we understand that sometimes things change and you may need to cancel your order or return an item. We're here to make the process as smooth as possible for you. Our cancellation and return policy is designed to be fair and flexible while still protecting our business and customers from unnecessary costs.

Cancellations:

If you need to cancel your order, we will do our best to accommodate your request as long as the order meets certain criteria.

  • The item(s) that you have purchased is not in our possession and/or has not partially arrived.
  • The item(s) are not in transit to us from the supplier
  • The manufacturer has yet to invoice us
  • We can cancel the order with the supplier
  • There is no open claim with the manufacturer on your order.

We apologize for any inconvenience, but please note that if your order does not meet the cancellation criteria, a 25% restocking fee will apply. Once an item is shipped and in transit, it cannot be canceled for a refund and will incur this fee. If you refuse delivery of a shipped item, the restocking fee will still apply, and shipping charges will not be refunded. This policy helps us manage costs and ensure fairness.

If your payment has been processed, a cancellation fee of 2.9% + $0.30 of the total purchase price will apply. This fee covers the transaction charges that are non-refundable.

If your payment was processed through Affirm, a cancellation fee of 6% of the total purchase price will apply. This fee covers the non-refundable transaction charges from Affirm.

Although FurnishMyHome.ca does not absorb these cancellation fees, we will credit them back to you as in-store credit for future purchases.

In-Store Credit Cancellations

Please note that in-store credit issued for cancellations is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred. Once applied, it can only be used toward future purchases with us.

Refunds/Returns:

We're committed to ensuring your complete satisfaction with your purchase. If you're not happy with your item, we offer a 5-calendar day return window. To initiate a return, please contact our Customer Service team with your order number, a detailed description of the issue, and a photo of the item(s). To be eligible for a return, the item(s) must be in the same condition as received, unassembled and unused, in its original packaging with a receipt or proof of purchase. A 25% restocking fee will be applied to the final price of the product, and you will be responsible for the cost of return shipping. Some items, including mattresses and custom or made-to-order items, are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded. Please allow up to 10 business days for your refund to be processed and reflected on your credit card.

Damaged items:

Customer satisfaction is our top priority, and we strive to ensure that your furniture arrives safely and on time. If an item is defective or damaged upon receipt, please contact us within 24 hours by email, and we'll do our best to resolve the issue. We'll evaluate the problem, file a claim with the manufacturer, and work to rectify the issue within the manufacturer's warranty. Please note that damaged items are subject to our regular return policy, which may not result in a full refund. We take great pride in the quality of our products and are committed to providing you with the best service possible. Warranties & Claims:

We're proud to offer high-quality furniture from top brands, backed by a 1-year manufacturer warranty. If you encounter any defects within the first year of ownership, please contact our Customer Service team with photos of the affected items, product code, and any delivery receipt notes regarding visible damage. We'll work closely with the manufacturer to resolve your claim quickly and efficiently, ensuring your complete satisfaction.

Disclaimer:

We strive to provide accurate and detailed images of our furniture to give you the best idea of what to expect when your order arrives. However, due to variations in photography, monitors, and lighting, we cannot guarantee that the finish of the furniture will be exactly as pictured. Natural variations in the grain, color, or sheen of wood, as well as variations in the dyeing or tanning process of fabric and leather, can occur, and these are not considered defects or damages.
