A wide, low oval in burnished copper, equal parts vase and sculpture. The Laval sits with a confident, sculptural presence, its inward-tapering sides giving the form a gentle, organic quality. Cast aluminum carries a burnished copper finish that’s deep and complex, with natural variation across the surface for an authentic, aged patina feel. As much a decorative object as a working vase, it holds its own with or without stems. Sculpture that happens to hold flowers.
